SUNDAY SERVICES & WHAT TO EXPECT

Sunday services are held at
9:00am, 10:30am, and 12:30pm.

We begin with about a half hour of singing led by a worship leader, band, and choir. We generally mix contemporary songs of celebration with other gospel or Latin flavored worship songs.

Some worshippers dance or use banners to express themselves during the service. After the singing portion, we have a welcome time, announcements, and a voluntary collection of offertory. During the offering we have a special song, hymn or chorus.

After the offering, one of our teaching pastors preaches for about a half hour on a series based on books of the Bible or themes found in Scripture. The service is finished with a response time including closing remarks and a song. There is prayer available after the service for those who would like to receive it. We have a communion table open each week and receive communion together as a body the first Sunday of each month.

At times we use video clips, visual arts, or a dramatic presentation in the service. The service usually lasts about an hour and a half. About four times a year we change the format of the service to accommodate special events such as Thanksgiving or Advent.
