CHOIR

Guidelines

• Maintain a lifestyle consistent with the worship team covenant
• Arrive on time 7:00 p.m. Wednesdays, Sundays 8:45 1st service 10:45 2nd service.
• Call your section leader or choir director if you are unable to attend or are going to be late on Sunday or Wednesday.
• Review songs as necessary during the week
• Record songs at rehearsal if necessary to remember parts
• At New Life we respect the diversity of self-expression yet in the choir our highest priority is that the attention and focus of the congregation be on God. This is to be reflected in what we wear and how we carry ourselves.
• Wear clothing that does not draw attention to yourself by either being to fancy or to casual. Check to see that your midriff or belly is not exposed when you lift your hands. Be aware that those seated in the balcony may be able to see farther down your blouse than those seated on the main floor. Tight form fitting clothes, leggings, tank tops, shorts and miniskirts are not appropriate.
