Peter Rohdin – Worship Pastor

I grew up in church and surrendered my life to Jesus as a preteen. My two passions growing up were pursuing my relationship with God and music. After High School I moved from Maine to New York to study music at Nyack College. After earning a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education I taught music in the public school system and played in several local Christian bands. During this time I longed to experience the same “body life” in the church as I found in the twelve-step groups I had been attending. God answered that prayer when a friend introduced me to New Life Fellowship in 1989. For several years I was the worship team’s bass player.  I served as an intern with the church for two-years, married my wife Myrna and joined the church staff in 1992. I’m still pursuing the two passions of God and music through serving as pastor over Worship.

Cate Song

Cate has been a member of NLF since 2005. She is an accountant by day and singer/songwriter by night, and just recently released a full-length album (available in iTunes and the NLF book table). You can find her on the piano/vocals on Sundays as well as various venues throughout the city with her original songs. She is also on www.myspace.com/catesong.
